High Definition Brain SPECT Imaging

Our Forensics Division is directed by David Stafford Johnson, General Counsel to CereScan.

Mr. Johnson has an extensive domestic and international corporate and entrepreneurial background in mergers and acquisitions, finance, strategic planning and structuring, intellectual property commercialization and in administering complex, multi-jurisdictional legal affairs. Mr. Johnson is licensed to practice law in the States of Arizona, Texas and Colorado and is a graduate of Dartmouth College with an MBA from Arizona State University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona, and post-graduate certificates from Denver University, Harvard University and the Colorado School of Mines. Mr. Johnson has previously worked in executive legal, corporate development, strategic planning and financial and management capacities both with domestic non-profit companies and with domestic and international for-profit public and private companies in the consumer products, telecommunications, venture capital, oil and gas and natural resource sectors, including planning and facilitating documentation of a $100M domestic IPO.



Reading Physicians:

Theodore A. Henderson, MD, PhD The Synaptic Space is a Denver-based consulting firm on the medical and scientific aspects of functional neuroimaging. With expertise in SPECT imaging, The Synaptic Space is providing Cerescan with top local experts in the field. Dr. Theodore Henderson is their lead consultant. His early research was on the development and organization of functional areas of the brain. He has trained in both Radiology and Psychiatry and completed a fellowship in Child Psychiatry.  Dr. Henderson is committed to educating the public and the field of psychiatry about the present and future potential of neuroimaging in psychiatry. Dr. Henderson serves on the Brain Imaging Council of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and is the first psychiatrist to hold this position. He is published both in neurobiology and psychiatry and has electronic publications in neuroimaging.

 


Anwer Sheikh, MD.  Dr. Sheikh is board-certified in nuclear medicine and has over four years of experience in PET/CT (oncology, cardiac & neurology), nuclear cardiology, and all aspects of nuclear medicine imaging including brain SPECT and nuclear procedure and therapies. His nuclear medicine training (including PET) was at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois. This also included rotations in CT and MRI and additional electives in PET centers at University of Iowa (for oncology PET) and Mount Sinai Hospital (for cardiac PET with Rb). He is on staff at Georgetown University Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC, as well as the Marshfield Hospital in Marshfield, WI. He also performs tele-nuclear services for two imaging companies based in Illinois. Dr. Sheikh is under contract to CereScan to interpret brain scans and to provide general consultation on radiology and nuclear medicine topics.
